Can't believe I am still coughing...

Well I still have that dry hacky cough but am not letting it slow me down! Although I really miss family and friends alot, I have truly enjoyed the wonderful sunny days of Arizona! Wow, it is beautiful here...109 degree temperatures and all. Actually, it is cooler at night and doesn't really reach the 100s until later in the afternoon. I am learning to run my errands in the mornings and stick close to the pool in the afternoons whenever possible. One dip and I am refreshed and ready to go again!

Tom and I have been working on the yard and landscaping which still needs alot of help:-( The two lonely cactus at my front door really don't seem very welcoming...Jeri Cannon would tell me "bad Feng Shui" I know, and she would be right!!! But I am working on it Jeri:-)

My plans included some citrus trees, but I have been told that I cannot plant them until after August. So, for now I will have to live with the cactus, one messy mesquite tree, a few red yuccas, one lonely (and rather ugly) queen palm, two cute dwarf palms and LOTS of crushed granite:-) I am hoping to put in a few flowering plants for some color...you know how I love color!

As of now the plans are for us to be in SLC on June 5th to meet Jen who is arriving on Saturday, June 6th at 11:20 AM, American Airlines from Dallas/Fort Worth. If you are not aware, we have set up a Welcome Home Missionary Blog for her at this address: http://jen-in-chile.blogspot.com/ Feel free to check it out including some pictures of her on her Mission.

If you have a picture or comment you would like us to include follow the instructions on the blog.

We will be returning to Arizona on Tuesday, June 9th so it will be a short trip--hope I get to see you while I am there. Jen will be sharing her testimony on Sunday, June 7th and we plan to be there too. Missing you so very much and would love to get in a visit if possible.

Thanks for all the emails, phone calls and notes--it means alot to me. Hoping to see you soon!
